National Nurses Week honors the sacrifices and contributions nurses make and the expertise of this highly specialized profession.
This Nurses Week takes on special significance as the ranks of nurse practitioners (NPs) grew by 9% in 2022.
April Kapu is the president of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Kapu joined CBS 58 on Wednesday, May 11 to talk about the importance of recognizing the nursing profession.
